About Me - Xhulio Veizaj
I am a 22-year-old living in Tirana. I enjoy learning new things that I can use in my day-to-day life. Usually, I am pretty casual and easy-going. I don’t like stressing too much about unnecessary things, after all, that only makes the situation worse. Although I am serious whenever the situation calls for it. I like coding especially when it comes to difficult things I haven’t done before. Nothing beats the satisfaction when you finally get a specific feature to work. In my free time, I try to relax. Either by going out with friends, playing video games, or even just going for a walk. Something to get my head away from work. Overall I try to be helpful and kind, just the way I want other people to be!
Education
I have a bachelor's degree in software engineering from the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT) where I learned about different software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle. With these skills, I am able to develop complex, user-friendly applications that are reliable and perform well. Additionally, I also have completed several online courses from Coursera and Udemy to improve my skills in software and web development, database design, and data science. To keep up with newer technologies I make sure to study something new every once in a while.
Hobbies
I enjoy cooking. Usually, I cook meals that take either take 5 minutes or a full hour even though I often find myself eating fast food these days. It helps to relax sometimes and nothing beats eating a delicious meal you cooked yourself. Not a fan of the clean-up after though...
Also, I have an interest in psychology. I find it fascinating that our emotions can make us view the same situation differently, and that a person's mood can change just by some words. I like talking to people and understanding what they are feeling. This way I can relate to them and assist them accordingly.
